![]() | Odidlee Also Slung A Gun by Jeffery Scott-Odai LGP-004 DOWNLOAD |
| Jeff had adopted by this point his pirate character's name -Odai- as part of his performing title which he got known as during his tours with the Renassiance Festivals. Odai had turned into Odidlee after he met Jelly Roll Joel McCune whom would riff off the Bo Diddley was a Gunslinger album with 'Odidlee also slung a gun' ". This session took place at Cat in Cog studios in Phoenix and featured Joel McCune and Hypno-Twist key player Tula Storm, drummer Dave Periniski and Turtle Jon who also engineered playing bass. It was the only time he was close to capturing the sound for the songs he heard in his head but with each winter once it was over so was the band. The Hypno-Twist's would break up later that spring of 2003 not long after touring England and recording a (at that point) vinyl only album Glyn Road with Liam Watson at Toe Rag Studios and moving to the East Coast where the band stayed friends but not together. There are around 50 of the original pressing of 250 hard copies left but we are hanging on to them for the time being. We have though in their physical absence put together the original session with the inclusion of the unreleased Nurse's Song. An improv jam around the words of William Blake Track Listing 1.
