| The collaboration of Between Tramp and Train was between two people who have known of each other a very long time.. odes, lore and scenarios written during Jeff Howitt's travels across the country stirred to life as Tim Lewis applied his background of flamenco and blues arrangements. They were able to write a song nearly every Monday after he ran into Tim's older brother Chuck on Good Friday that Spring of 1999 before Jeff was to leave for his annual summer in Colorado. The original pressing of 100 hard copies is sold out with no plans to re-issue. They have regrouped only once since in late 2007 and then under the guise of Old Hat and accompanied by banjo, stand up bass and slide guitar. Tim and Jeff have continued to add recipes to their cook book over the years and will be drawing from it with more frequent public appearances.. keep your ear to the ground Track Listing | |
